We’re Petri & Ellouise, partners in life and in art, creating together through Bettie & Bonnie. Our journey into photography was shaped early on, growing up in homes filled with creativity, family and feeling.
Art was always present, not as something formal, but as something lived and shared. Over time, photography became our way of holding onto what mattered most.
Petri & Ellouise
Ellouise’s love for photography began in her teenage years, experimenting with her father’s work camera and slowly discovering the joy of capturing moments as they naturally unfold.
Petri’s first photograph was taken before he could even spell the word “camera,” a quiet beginning that led him into the film world—until he realised his heart leaned toward something more intimate, more personal and more lasting.
Together, our work is guided by nostalgia and the warmth of home. We’re drawn to the quiet in-betweens, the honest emotion, the moments that feel small but carry the most meaning.
The feeling behind Bettie & Bonnie is one of familiarity and comfort — like stepping into a space where you can simply be yourself.
If anything, our greatest wish is that our work brings you back to how it felt — the love, the warmth and the quiet magic that stays with you long after the moment has passed.
One final small thing about us: we’re very serious about cake.
